RV Industry officials have written a letter to Vice President Mike Pence offering to donate RVs to help hospitals and other providers fight the coronavirus.

The letter says RVs have been used for many years by state and local agencies during times of disaster. They can act as headquarters, temporary living quarters for doctors and other support staff, and more.

Last week the state of Louisiana placed an order for a large number of RVs to be used in the event of a surge in cases, and the state of California has bought more than 1300 RVs to use for emergency isolation for the homeless to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The RV industry letter said they are determined to be as helpful as possibly during the coronavirus crisis.
