Michigan COVID-19 cases top the 10,000 mark

New numbers announced by the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services on Thursday added 1,457 new cases and 80 new deaths.

This brings the totals to 10,791 positive tests, and 417 deaths statewide.

Numbers are updated by the department every afternoon at 3 p.m.

This information is updated daily at 3 p.m., with COVID-19 results included as of 10 a.m..
