Lakeland Hospital COO tests positive for COVID-19

The Chief Operating Officer of Spectrum Health Lakeland has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The health care center’s president, who is also the patient’s twin brother, shared the news in a statement that was sent to all Lakeland employees.

The COO self-quarantined at home after feeling ill, and is now being treated at Lakeland Medical Center’s COVID-19 unit in St. Joseph.
