Elkhart man arrested after allegedly touching girls inappropriately

An Elkhart man is accused of molesting three girls repeatedly during car rides to church.

The victims were all under the age of 14 at the time.

A relative of one of the girls contacted Child Protective Services after hearing accusations that Caleb Lohr, 38, touched her and the others on several occasions, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

The girls described similar incidents, with Lohr touching or tickling them in the back seat of the vehicle on the way to church.

They indicated the tickling soon turned into attempts to touch them inappropriately. Lohr allegedly confessed to police.
