Motorcyclist, 54, seriously injured in crash on State Road 13 near Syracuse

A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision near Syracuse.

The collision happened around 6:10 p.m. on Friday, May 10, when a pickup truck turning onto State Road 13 from Executive Drive failed to yield to the motorcyclist.

The 54-year-old motorcyclist from Syracuse was thrown from his bike and airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

The 65-year-old Leesburg man driving the pickup was treated at the scene for his injuries.
