Michigan liquor companies commended for COVID-19 help

Michigan’s alcohol beverage industry is stepping up with big donations during the health crisis.

Despite the state’s liquor businesses being hit hard, they have become one of the state’s largest contributors to the fight against coronavirus.

On Wednesday the Michigan Liquor Control Commission commended producers, distillers, retailers, distributors and wineries for their generous donations of cash, protective gear, food and meals that are helping those working on the front lines of Michigan’s virus effort.
