Update: Silver Alert issued for missing 29-year-old Elkhart man canceled

UPDATE: The Silver Alert issued on Thursday, April 30, for Corey L. Ellis has been canceled as of Friday, May 1.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared as the Nappanee Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Corey L. Ellis, 29.

Ellis is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches, 150 pounds, brown hair with hazel eyes. Corey was last seen driving a white 2002 Toyota Echo with a “Jesus is King” sign in the rear window and Indiana license plate 280AGE.

Ellis is missing from Elkhart and was last seen on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 8:00 am.

He is believed to be in danger and may require medical assistance.

Anybody with information about Corey L. Ellis, is asked to contact the Nappanee Police Department at 574-773-4111 or call 911.
