A new employment website was launched last week for those looking for work in the South Bend-area.

The City of South Bend and Goodwill Industries of Michiana, along with several other regional partners, announced the launch of the Jobs Progress initiative Friday, which provides up-to-date listings of employers in the greater South Bend region who are hiring.

All employers listed are within 35 miles of South Bend, meet criteria for essential businesses allowed to be open and are actively hiring.

The site also allows employers to describe the COVID-19 safety and precautionary measures they are taking.
