One person hurt in shooting on East Ewing in South Bend

More than 300 bullets have been fired in the City of South Bend since Friday, June 5, and the number continued to rise early this week.

Police were called to the scene of a reported shooting around 4:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9 in the 900 block of East Ewing.

At least one person was hurt. The injuries were not life-threatening.

There was no immediate word of any suspects, arrests or information about what led to the shooting.
