If you’re without Wi-Fi and live in Michigan, you’re in luck.
The State of Michigan, in partnership with the Connected Nation Michigan, recently released a statewide Wi-Fi hotspot map.
The map was created after the pandemic, and transition to remote and distance learning, increased the need for residents to have easy access to broadband services.
More than 300 Wi-Fi hotspots locations are available, ranging from parking lots of public schools, to libraries.
Michigan residents looking to utilize a local Wi-Fi hotspot are encouraged to follow the Centers for Disease COntrol and State of Michigan social distancing guidelines, including wearing masks in public facilities and keeping a distance of at least six feet from others.
