A 17-year-old boy is recovering after being shot in Elkhart. Police were called to the area of Bower Street and North Michigan Street on Tuesday, June 9, where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the foot.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There was no word of any suspects, arrests, or the circumstances that led to the shooting.
