If you live in Michigan and recycle your cans and bottles, they’ve been building up for a while now.

It’s almost time to reclaim that part of the garage. Meijer and a number of other stores across the state will begin accepting bottle returns on Monday, with a few guidelines for the process.

Meijer, for example is asking customers to limit their returns to 25 dollars, separate their bottles and cans ahead of time to keep the line moving, and more.

Above all else they urge their customers to practice patience, social distancing…and wear a mask.
