A 90-year-old man from Michigan City has been charged with child molestation.

Russell Albano is accused of molesting an 8-year-old girl.

The victim told police the abuse started when she was five. Two other people told police Albano sent them pornography.

A hearing in LaPorte County is scheduled June 23 on a request to lower the $100,000 bond he’s being held on.

If convicted, Albano faces more than 60 years in prison.
