An online tool to help military veterans find a job has gotten an upgrade.

INvets.org is a website that connects veterans directly with Hoosier companies.

The website includes current information about job opportunities in healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, technology and other high-demand industries.

Wes Wood, executive director of INvets and an Army veteran told Inside Indiana Business that for veterans it isn’t always easy finding their next career path, and matching their skills and interests with available jobs.

Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch said there are thousands of unfilled jobs in Indiana, and programs like INvets help connect employers to skilled veterans.

The website lets veterans know what skills they need for a certain job and company, and links education and training partners that can help them.

More than 150 companies are part of the INvets program.
