Whirlpool Corp. announces job cuts due to pandemic

A company founded in Benton Harbor, Michigan plans to lay off a portion of its workers.

Whirlpool Corp. recently announced the planned layoffs, which come after the company encountered unexpected costs due to the pandemic.

WNDU reports the company layoffs are only for U.S. salaried workers, but the overall cost reductions are global.
