Protester struck by vehicle near Battell Park in Mishawaka

The Mishawaka Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash involving an SUV and a pedestrian.

The collision happened early Saturday evening, July 4, at the south side of the Main street bridge.

The pedestrian was a protester participating in a demonstration.

The injuries appear to be non-life threatening.  

The driver of the vehicle was interviewed by a Mishawaka Police Traffic Crash Investigator.
