With 53% of the vote on the third ballot, Indiana’s GOP delegates Friday gave their nomination to Todd Rokita for Attorney General, handing a defeat to incubent Curtis Hill.
Rokita is a former Congressman and Secretary of State who was the last candidate to enter the race for the nomination. He was also the most vocal critic during the process of Hill, who was accused of groping four women in 2018.
Rokita will face Democrat Jonathan Weinzapfel in November’s election.
