Two injured in Cass County crash Sunday

Two people are injured after a crash in Cass County Sunday night.

Police report the crash happened around 11 p.m. in the 18900 block of U.S. 12 in Mason Township.

The driver was reportedly driving westbound when he lost control of the vehicle due to speed. His car left the roadway and struck a culvert, causing the vehicle to go airborne.

The driver suffered unknown injuries and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

The passenger was also taken to the hospital for injuries.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
