Elkhart Community Schools decide against full-time, in-person teaching this fall

The Elkhart schools have decided to not offer full-time instruction that requires physical attendance in the classroom this fall. The Elkhart Community Schools have become the first in the area to say they won’t offer the option for students this fall.

Under a “hybrid plan” that was approved by the district’s school board last week, students will either take entirely virtual classes…or opt for two days of in-person instruction in addition to e-learning.

The plan says half of the students choosing the two days of class option will attend on Mondays and Wednesdays, the others will go back Tuesdays and Thursdays. Everyone will have e-learning on Fridays.

The schools will provide two masks to the students attending classes in person.

The governors plan stated face mask only for 3rd graders up. This crap implement will have far reaching effects on this children, local community. State and Nation in the future. I was not happy with Elkhart Community School District so called e-learning. Who’s going to replace loss of income? Will our property taxes be going down? For this 3rd rate education our community children will be receiving? Yea not in this life. This is a perfect example why home schooling is better than public education!
