Meijer is joining a list of stores to announce a mask requirement for shoppers.

Meijer will require all shoppers to wear masks beginning Monday, July 20.

Customers who have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing a mask will be exempt.

Meijer said customers who don’t want to wear a mask in the store should consider delivery or pickup.

Meijer has 253 stores in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio.

Walmart, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, Target, CVS and Kroger have also announced mask mandates this week.
