LaPorte High School puts pause on sports following positive COVID-19 tests

The LaPorte Community School Administration has put a pause on several high school sports activities due to positive COVID-19 tests.

The LaPorte County Health Department found positive cases in both the boys’ tennis and football programs, according to ABC 57 News.

The school administration has now put all activities with football, boys’ tennis, and wrestling on hold until further notice.

LaPorte High School will also work with the health department to further investigate the cases, and to determine how to safely return to practices.
