A special mass is being planned for the start of the school year at the University of Notre Dame.

University President The Reverend John Jenkins said in an email that the mass will be held at Notre Dame Stadium on August 9 at 7 p.m.

It will be live-streamed for students, faculty and staff who would prefer to participate virtually. Advance tickets will be available for those who wish to attend in person. Masks and physical distancing protocols will be in place.
