A man was fatally hit by a boat while tubing in Kosciusko County.

Nathaniel Mroz, 20, of Fortville, Indiana, was riding on a tube behind a boat with two others on Lake Wawasee on Saturday, Aug. 8.

All three were thrown off the tube during the ride.

Mroz was hit by the boat while the driver was helping them get out of the water.

Others onboard grabbed Mroz, who was unconscious.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.
