A man was airlifted from the New Paris Speedway after a collision.

The crash happened on Saturday, Aug. 8,  during the Night of Destruction event.

The Elkhart Truth reports New Paris, Goshen Fire and MedFlight were involved in rescuing the amn who was awake after the collision, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Event organizers say the man was able to speak and move his arms and legs.
