Ford recalling more than half a million SUVs for potential brake issue

Ford is recalling more than 558,000 midsize SUVs in North America because they may have a problem with their brakes.

The recall covers Ford Edge models from 2015 to 2018, and 2016 to 2018 Lincoln MKX vehicles.

Wednesday the automaker said some front brake hoses can rupture, resulting a a brake fluid leak.

The company says they are unaware of any crashes or injuries related to the recall. Owners will be notified starting September 14.
