Crash along U.S. 12 kills one, injures two others

One person has died and two others are injured following a crash in St. Joseph County, Michigan.

The crash happened on U.S. 12 near Carls Road in Fawn River Township after a Ford crossed the center line and crashed into a Jeep head-on.

Michigan State Police report the Jeep’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jeep’s passenger and the driver of the Ford were both transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
