A Benton Harbor man was shot and killed.

Police were called around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, in the 500 Block of Catalpa Avenue in Benton Harbor on the report of shots fired.

When officers arrived on scene, the found Elijah Boyd, 24, who was taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland where he died from his injuries.

Police have not released any suspects. There was no immediate word about a motive.
