Notre Dame Faculty Senate no-confidence vote against University President Fr. John Jenkins to be rescheduled

The University of Notre Dame Faculty Senate was expected to hold a no-confidence vote on Tuesday night, Oct. 27, against school president Father John Jenkins, but changed the date out of respect for the mass planned in memory of the two first-year students who were killed after being struck by a car this past weekend.

The vote will come at a date to be announced after Jenkins was seen not wearing a mask while attending a White House Rose Garden ceremony for President Trump’s nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

The president tested positive for coronavirus days later. Jenkins is expected to speak before the Faculty Senate meeting, when it happens.

Their real problem isn’t the mask, it is Jenkins’ perceived support for President Trump. The TDS runs deep at Notre Dame.

Umm… You might want to go back and re-read what I wrote. It wasn’t my problem that was being discussed.

What a bunch of Fascists!! “Seen not wearing a face mask” isn’t quite what the founders had in mind when they, I’m sure, placed a clause protecting the university from a president’s moral failure. I hope the alumni step in to show how grown ups live life and how far the current student population has to come.

For the left any excuse is a good one to destroy your political enemies.

If they gain power expect them to gin up the Gulags.
