Winter coronavirus protocols for indoor sporting events have been figured out by school leaders in South Bend.

The school district’s Director of Athletics, Howard Edwards, says all winter sporting events will allow a handful of spectators inside to watch, but you have to be wearing a mask.

All basketball games will have a maximum of 300 people allowed in the stands and tickets will only be pre-sold to parents and family of participants.

The same goes for wrestling matches. No fans will be allowed to watch swimming and diving meets.

This has all been approved by St. Joseph County health leaders.
