Michigan Small Business Restart Program now has more than $100 million in grants to save thousands of jobs in the state

Tuesday, Michigan’s governor announced that more than $100 million has been allocated through the Michigan Small Business Restart Program to assist businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19.

Governor Whitmer says this program will help retain more than 97,000 Michigan jobs. More than 14,000 small businesses and non-profits across the state will benefit from the grant, part of the federal CARES Act funding.

Some of the businesses on the list were in Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph Counties in Michigan.
