Power outage affecting 12,000+ I&M customers in South Bend

A power outage is affecting Indiana Michigan Power customers in the northwestern portion of South Bend.

The outage occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nob. 21. It is affecting customers from South Bend International Airport to east of Roseland and from as far south as Western Avenue to the state line. The 95.3 MNC transmitter was affected by the outage. Power to the transmitter was restored around 1:10 p.m., though llisteners can always listen via our website to stream our programming.

Traffic intersections where the lights are out must be treated as all-way stops.

Power may be restored to some by 3:30 p.m.
