Michigan small businesses can apply for grants Tuesday

Michigan businesses that have been suffering under COVID-19 can apply for grants on Tuesday.

Small Michigan businesses impacted by the pandemic have a chance to apply for grants of up to $15,000 through the Pure Michigan Small Business Relief Initiative.

The grants will be awarded on a “first-in” basis. Applications will be accepted as of 9 a.m. Tuesday, and the program is intended to offer support to businesses in Michigan such as bars, restaurants, hotels, venues, gyms and similar places.

A total of $800,000 has been allocated for the region that includes Berrien, Cass, Van Buren and St. Joseph Counties.
