Family members say that back on Nov. 20th 26-year-old Dominique Edwards showed up at his parents’ house, and was clearly on drugs.

As the night progressed he continued “acting funny”, before pulling out a gun and shooting his parents completely unprovoked. Edwards was chased out of the home by his brother, and had been on the run since.

The shooting happened on Stevens Avenue and the Father was hospitalized with serious injuries to his abdomen and leg. Police arrested him this weekend when they discovered him at the scene of a suspected vehicle break-in.

The Elkhart Truth reports his charges include attempted murder and resisting law enforcement.
