Charges have been filed against a Mishawaka man in connection with the fire, early Monday morning, Dec. 14, at Hickory Village Apartments.

Anthony Ware, 25, faces two counts of arson and a count of giving a false identity.

At least three eyewitnesses said they saw Ware or heard him knocking on apartment doors moments before the fire erupted. Investigators also found possible evidence in Ware’s vehicle linking him to the blaze.
