Michigan High Schools are just about ready for some football.
The plans were announced soon after Friday’s changes to Michigan’s COVID-19 situation, announced by Governor Whitmer.
The MHSAA says High School football playoffs in the state will begin again on January 2. Semifinals will be January 9, and finals on the 15th and 16th.
The three remaining fall tournaments will resume and teams will be allowed to start practice again on Monday.
All safety protocols will stay in place, and indoor winter sports are still on hold until January 16th. Further announcements are expected in the coming week.
