Indiana’s vaccine distribution plan has been announced, and it will happen by age.
Friday begins vaccination for Hoosiers over the age of 80. Then it will move on to those in their 70s, then their 60s, and so on.
There will be communication through the media, in newspapers, and by other methods.
The State Department of Health says at the current vaccination rate, including 2 shots per person, it will take roughly 10 weeks to immunize the first age group, 18 weeks for everyone in their 70s, and roughly 30 weeks for everyone in their 60s.
