An Illinois man is accused of neglect and more after leading police on a chase with a baby in the car.

Christopher Gibson was arrested after a Portage police officer saw Gibson pull out of a Days Inn and drive over a raised median.

When the officer tried to pull Gibson over he drove away.

When the car stopped, Gibson got out and looked like he was surrendering before he backed away and began to run.

Police used a stun gun to stop him.

Police found a baby in the backseat, the boy’s mother came and got him, said the Times of Northwest Indiana.
