Search underway for suspect who robbed Cash Advance store in Niles Township

Police in Berrien County are looking for the suspect they say robbed a Cash Advance store in Niles Township.

The robbery happened but before 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, at the Cash Advance location at 1250 Bell Road.

Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, approximately 5’9’’ with a slim build.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, dark colored pants and a face covering.

The suspect displayed a hand gun and demand money.

An undetermined amount of money was taken.

The suspect fled the scene in a black SUV style vehicle west bound on Bell Road.

The robbery remains under investigation by the Berrien County Detective Bureau.
