Buttigieg confirmed as Transportation Secretary

(Screenshot)

Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is now U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

The final vote Wednesday was 86-13, with both of Indiana’s Republican Senators Todd Young and Mike Braun voting yes. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was also among the GOP members voting in favor of the appointment.

Buttigieg is the 19th Transportation Secretary and the fifth member of President Biden’s Cabinet to be confirmed. He’s the first openly gay Cabinet member to be confirmed by the Senate, and the first millennial.

This incompetent empty suit is now in charge of trucking, shipping, airports, rail transport, pipelines, airlines, power transmission, highways, millions of intersections, roundabouts and bike paths everywhere in the country. What will he do in the trucking and shipping industries to make things more “equitable?” God help us. Why do we permit the least worthy and least competent to lead the greatest country on earth? Take heart: Venceremos!

I notice that South Bend didn’t announce their new road program to fix all their broken roads until AFTER Bootyjudge was confirmed.

Fancy that…
