A 26-year-old Cassopolis man was hospitalized after a crash in Wayne Township.

Cass County Sheriff’s deputies were called, around 11 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, to the intersection of Rudy Road and Swamp Street where they found the man trapped inside his vehicle.

The investigation showed the driver struck a concrete barrier, then went over the bridge.

The man was extricated from the vehicle, then transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital.
