President Biden will be in Southwest Michigan Thursday. He’ll be taking a tour of a Pfizer plant in Portage that’s involved in production of the COVID vaccine and meeting with the workers there.

Biden’s administration announced a deal last week to buy 200 million doses of the vaccine from Pfizer and Moderna.

Pfizer says they are working nearly twice as fast now to create doses.
