Man arrested for allegedly beating dog with hammer

A man is in jail after he allegedly beat a dog with a hammer.

South Bend Police were called to the 200 block of E. Altgeld Street for an animal cruelty incident, where they found a dog buried in snow.

ABC 57 News reports the animal was rushed to a local animal clinic, but had to be euthanized.

The suspect, John Hill, was arrested on a preliminary charge of Cruelty to an Animal.

And yet, they don’t arrest people who murder babies!!!

First off what was his reasoning for doing this to a animal if the dog attacked a women or child or some one minding there own business then he should have killed the animal now if the dog did nothing like that then he better be glad I am not at the county jail cause I would beat this man to death for doing something like this if u did not want the dog he could have take in him to the shelter where he could have been adopted out and had some one to love n care for him this man needs a beating sounds like to me so to my people in the county jail beat this man down he deserves it sounds like it but please find out first that the dog did not attacked any one for no reason at all
