County music star Morgan Wallen is no longer on the schedule at the LaPorte County Fair.
The decision comes in the wake of video gone viral of Wallen using a racist slur while under the influence of alcohol.
A news release from the fair board states they do not condone racism or discrimination in any form.
They say what he did was inappropriate and disappointing. Anybody who purchased tickets to the concert can get a full refund.
Statement from the LaPorte County Fair:
In recent days, the Fair Board has spent significant time reviewing its options with respect to the Morgan Wallen concert scheduled for July 14th. This has included conversations with numerous officials within the community, including the LaPorte County Commissioners, County Sheriff, County Council President, as well as their respective attorneys. After much consideration, the decision has been made to cancel this concert. For those that purchased tickets, full refunds will be issued and are expected to be processed within ten (10) business days. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we address this and, as always, appreciate your support of the LaPorte County Fair.

I’m not a Morgan Wallen fan, in fact, I’ve never heard of him, but this is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So the people on the fair board have NEVER slipped up….got it. All perfect angels.
I agree.
And Cancel Culture has come to conservative county fairs. Awesome.
What did this guy say? Did he say that poor kids are just as smart as white kids? Did he say that minorities have trouble using the internet? Did he call them super-predators? Inquiring minds want to know.
Before anyone sends me hate mail, those comments were all made by Biden and Clinton. Sounds like they need to be cancelled also!
