Indiana continues to make progress in the fight against coronavirus.

Nearly 40 counties are now in the blue on the state’s color-coded map — the lowest risk of COVID spread. Nine of those have been blue for two straight weeks and are now free of any restrictions. The other 30 — including Elkhart, Marshall, Kosciusko, LaGrange and Fulton counties — turned blue on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and could be free of restrictions if they stay in the blue for another week.

Almost everyone else is in the yellow — the second-best rating. Just three counties remain in the orange. Zero counties in the red.

The COVID vaccine will be eligible to Hoosiers 16 and older who are undergoing dialysis.

The state will be giving the vaccine to 10,000 people who are undergoing dialysis, said Dr. Lindsay Weaver, chief medical officer for the Indiana State Department of Health.

Then the eligibility will expand to people who have sickle cell disease, people who have gotten a solid organ transplant, people with down syndrome, people with active primary lung cancer, lymphoma, leukemia, or multiple myeloma.

I call BS.

The day President Sniffy was installed, the WHO changed the COVID testing methodology to reduce the number of “false positives”. Coincidentally, that was the same time that Sniffy had the US rejoin the WHO and hand them $400 million. I’m sure there is no relationship between those two facts whatsoever. Certainly Sniffy doesn’t benefit from a sudden reduction in COVID cases compared to Trump, right?

So, given that the testing methodology changed a month ago and the color coding thresholds were not adjusted accordingly, this “milestone” is entirely meaningless.

Hear hear, an educated individual. This whole color coded map is a farce. As it is, our Governor Bojangles has extended his dictatorship over the subjects of Indiana for another month. Mr. Green Jeans had more common sense than Governor Gomer Holcomb, Idiot. My first vote for him is the only vote I ever regretted and I didn’t make the same mistake a second time, it is too bad more people didn’t vote for Donald Rainwater.
