Officer in Pulaski County suspended after cash missing from evidence

A Pulaski County detective has been suspended and is suspected of possible criminal activity.

WSBT reports that Detective Jason Woodruff was suspended Thursday morning after the sheriff was alerted to discrepancies in cash that was being held in the evidence room. Woodruff has been the officer in charge of evidence.

The FBI is investigating and no charges have been filed yet in the case.
