Man, 19, wanted for murder in South Bend in police custody

A 19-year-old man wanted for murder in the shooting death of another man in South Bend, last summer, has been arrested.

Michiana Crime Stoppers announced, on Saturday, Feb. 27, that Daveyaun Groves, is now in custody.

Groves was charged with murder and a firearm sentencing enhancement in the death of Jeremiah Parker, 19.

The shooting happened back on July 3 in the 1600 block of South Marine Street.

If convicted on both charges, Groves could face as many as 85 years in prison.

Too bad he wasn’t wearing an ANTIFA hat or shirt…Pelosi would bail him out and get him excused of any wrong doing…Just saying.
