A Niles roller skating rink has reopened.

The owner of Galaxy Roller Rink on Ontario Road has been allowed to resume operations, at least to a limited number of skaters. This, after the Berrien County Health Department took the owner to court over opening against Michigan Department of Health and Human Services epidemic orders.

The Niles Daily Star reports they are allowed to have 45 customers inside the building.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help with the rink’s legal fees. So far, nearly $19,000 has been collected.
