Driver dies of gunshot wounds after shooting in Benton Harbor

Officers from the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety responded to a complaint of shots fired early Saturday morning and were called to assist with an automobile crash.

The call of shots fired happened around 1:30 in the morning at Highland and McCord, and the crash was at Highland and Hull. After breaching the wrecked car they found an unresponsive driver who had been wounded by gunfire.

The driver, 29 year-old Tevin Glaspy, died at the scene.

No further information has been released and the investigation is ongoing.
