A driver fleeing from police was one of three involved in a crash at a busy Mishawaka intersection.

The collision happened around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, at Cleveland and Grape Roads.

A Mishawaka Police officer tried to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle whose driver was believed to have an active warrant.

The vehicle weaved in and out of traffic and, at the intersection, struck a second vehicle which, in turn, struck a third.

The drivers of the two vehicles that were hit suffered minor injuries.

The woman at the center of the pursuit suffered head injuries. Police say she was not wearing a seat belt.
