Whether or not Elkhart County will continue with a local mask mandate and gathering limitations remains to be seen.

County Health Officer Dr. Bethany Wait canceled a news conference that was set for Friday morning, in which she was expected to say what level of coronavirus-related restrictions the county would have come April 6.

The Elkhart County Health Department issued an email, saying the news conference would, instead, be scheduled “in the near future.”

The Elkhart County Health officer is living in bazaaro world. NO ONE is following any of her orders. She is feckless and powerless to control the population as it should be. This is a free Republic. The People have the final say. Dictatorial governors and health officer can go pound sand. each person is capable of assessing the risks and take appropriate action. If you are so scared or bullied by the fear pandemic the stay home. your fear does not and cannot control any other person.
From start to finish and from top to bottom the cornyvirus has been surrounded by a political bodyguard of lies that prevents reasonable reactions to it.
